Pascua Yaqui Tribal Court has new Pretrial Services Division

On May 14, 2012 the Pascua Yaqui Court started a new Pretrial Service Division.  The mission of the division is to ease overcrowding jails by giving the judge a complete history of the defendant so they may order pretrial release.  Pretrial release offers the defendants an ability to be released from detention yet still be accountable for release conditions and court appearances, all while ensuring the safety of the community.

Please direct any questions you have about this new division to the Court’s Pretrial Services Supervisor, Tracy Nielsen.   She can be reached at 520-879-6208 or by email at:  tracy.nielsen@pascuayaqui-nsn.gov
